North Pole Studios presents Rhythm & Hues at the 2025 Montavilla Jazz Festival!

Leading off the Festival Kick-off Night at the Alberta Rose Theatre, North Pole’s collaborative project, Rhythm & Hues paired three local composer/musicians—Luke Wyland, Machado Mijiga, and Harlan Silverman—with three NPS artists—Joni Smith, Annie Rose Macer, and Austin Brague—invited the composers to write a song in response to an artwork. The results are vibrant, swirling pieces that illustrate the power of creative expression.

These three songs will be performed as the opener for PJCE’s Performance!
