ABOUT THE ARTIST
Davis Wohlford is an artist who lives and works in Portland. He’s the co-founder of North Pole Studio, a nonprofit art studio that empowers artists with disabilities to pursue self-determined lives and careers in the arts.
The Oregon Zoo has been one of Davis’s favorite places since childhood. He grew up alongside the animals and they continue to inspire his art. In 2022, he painted a series of over 200 animals as a gift to the zoo. Davis hopes that these paintings bring visitors as much happiness as the zoo brings him.
